Prototyping of machines or automated systems is now a well-established activity for us. We consider it the logical continuation of Virtual Commissioning and structural calculation and analysis.
After verifying all automated processes with the machine’s digital twin integrated into the control software the next step is the actual construction of the machine or complete system in order to carry out the final phase of analysis, validation and testing.
It is always essential to pragmatically assess both performance and reliability of the mechanical structure as well as the software design. While computational analysis and Virtual Commissioning are fundamental to ensuring a fail-safe approach to design, it is only through the actual construction of the system that the overall functionality can be fully validated and the final adjustments and optimizations—otherwise undetectable—can be implemented.
